Hey people, it has been a long time since I got to do an entry here, so now's as good a time as any to do so. Where do we begin... Well the biggest thing so far is that I just purchased a Nintendo Wii. Jimmy(my cousin) and I searched high and low for one. In fact, on Friday night, we hit a Best Buy, a Gamestop, a Target, and a Wal Mart all in a losing effort to find the ever elusive Wii. Discouraged and downtrodden, I drove home. Recalling his friend's story of obtaining the Wii, Jimmy said to me as we drove on Loop 410 that his friend bought one in a Blockbuster of all places. As a half hearted effort, we came upon a Blockbuster in a rather off beaten location. Jimmy went in and asked the workers there if they had one... there was one left in the storage room. Holy crap... So I am the proud owner of the Wii. I instantly bought Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and for at least a couple months, I am set with regards to video games.
After 2 and a half months in my new position at WaMu, I am starting to get rather comfortable. It's hard going from a big fish in a little bowl to a small fish in a huge bowl. Change is ever present, and for the while, I am embracing it.
Other than that, work, games, and drawing cover my time. From time to time, I hang with my cousins and friends and chill out. I check out the local independent wrestling shows. I eat mediocre food at the Fox and Hound Pub to watch UFC's big monthly shows. Oh the life of a jetsetter... *ahem* right...
Graduations are synonimous with the mouth of May. This year is rather packed with meaningful graduations for me. One cousin is graduating eighth grade and moving into high school... God help us all! My cousins, Matt and Juan, and my friend, Eric, are all graduating high school. God I am getting old!!! May will be a whirlwind of activity... and that's just for my engagements!!!
If you guys above read this... just remember... I graduated high school almost 10 years ago. I remember it all like it was just yesterday. Time flies, guys. Make the most of your opportunities... and as fast as time goes... try to remember to slow down every once in a while to survey where you came from, where you are, and where you are going!!!
Take care guys!!!
P.S. My friend code for the Wii is 3437-3366-6804. Mua-ha-ha!!!
